The Partenopei are looking around at other options in case Mazzarri does decide to take a Sabbatical or leave for a new experience.
According to SportMediaset, the prime candidate for the job is Fiorentina Coach Montella.
He would be a very popular solution, as Montella is from the Naples area and has impressed with his results at Roma, Catania and now Fiorentina.
Montella also uses the same 3-5-2 approach that Mazzarri has constructed Napoli on over the last few years.
The only stumbling block would be the Viola, who have stated Montella is leading a long-term project in Florence.
