Vincenzo Montella is not content with Catania's giant-killing reputation. “We've got to maintain the momentum against Napoli today.”

The Sicilians have already taken points off Inter, Juventus, Lazio and Fiorentina in recent weeks, so they welcome the Partenopei in the 17.00 UK time kick-off.

“It was a great result in Florence last week, but when you have good performances it is necessary to replicate them. Single praise is not enough,” warned the Coach.

“We have to improve our overall situation, as we concede too many goals through the central channel. This team has not been using the 3-5-2 for long, so it will take time to make it run smoothly.

“In order to win against Napoli, we have got to be clinical. The Partenopei play by heart and I am confident Walter Mazzarri will shuffle his pack to make life difficult for us.

“He has built a squad with a great mentality that plays at the same level at home or away, in Italy or Europe, and can challenge for the Scudetto. In my view they have the strength in depth to play twice a week without problems.”

It is a special game for Montella, who is from nearby Pomigliano d'Arco.

“I am from Naples and grew up there, even if I was never a supporter of the team. It will still be emotional for me.”
