Vincenzo Montella doesn't believe that Cesc Fabregas is the right man to replace Riccardo Montolivo in Milan's midfield.
Continuing his interview in Corriere della Sera, the Rossoneri boss also discussed living in Milan, having grey hair and the current state of play in Serie A.
"We are looking for a player who has the characteristics of Montolivo, who can also play in a midfield two.
"Fabregas? He doesn’t have those particular attributes.

When asked who out of his former team-mates he would like in his current midfield, the former Roma man unsurprisingly mentioned current captain Francesco Totti.
“The best we had were Mancini and Totti because they set me up to score, especially Roberto. “But as a Coach I would like [Juan Sebastian] Veron.
The 42-year-old continued with tales of how he has settled in at his new club, and rued the excellent nightlife in Milan.
"Berlusconi? His first question to me was: 'Who will be the two strikers'? I replied: 'why can’t we play with three?'
"In Milan I feel good at work. I understand it is a city that offers a lot, especially at night – alas – as we managers say! I live in San Siro, but I like Brera.
“Developing young Italian players is a project of Berlusconi, he would put 11 of them on the field.
Concluding with jokes about the necessary attributes of a Coach, the Milan boss remarked on the 'climate of optimism' at the club.
“I believe that a Coach should have white hair. It is true that since I've been at Milan I have a few more white hairs myself!
"Juve are the strongest on paper. But Napoli have 20 players who are at the same level.
“Inter will be one of our competitors, and I also mentioned Sassuolo, but only at the end of the last round did I have a better understanding.
