“I’m not thinking of Milan,” the tactician noted. “The game tomorrow against Cagliari comes first and is a fundamental one for us.

“If one of my players who are a booking away from suspension pull out of a tackle then I’ll substitute them.”

Saturday’s clash is expected to be played behind closed doors at the Is Arenas after it again failed to receive a safety certificate.

“Maybe Cagliari are used to that now and so they’ll have an advantage,” the former Catania and Roma boss added. “I would have liked to have played in front of fans.”
