Vincenzo Montella complained “the fixture list is not helping” Sampdoria in their Coppa Italia clash with Milan.
The Blucerchiati played a 1-1 Serie A draw with Lazio on Monday evening, will face Milan in the Round of 16 on Thursday night and then host Palermo on Sunday.
“The fixture list is not helping us this week, as three games in seven days is too much,” the Coach told Samp TV.

“The fixture list is not helping us this week, as three games in seven days is too much,” the Coach told Samp TV.
“There is really not enough time to prepare for these matches. Players are not ready to receive new information and we don’t get time to work out our strategy.
“We will nonetheless try to win and give a sense of consistency to our performances. That would be important both to boost our self-esteem and to honour the Coppa Italia.
“I like having a competitive squad where I can make many changes and keep the quality level high.”
