Sevilla director of sport Monchi slammed “false reports” that he will leave in order to take a job at Roma. “I am staying, 120 per cent.”
The rumours of a Monchi era at the Stadio Olimpico have been going for many months and were further boosted after Walter Sabatini walked away.

The rumours of a Monchi era at the Stadio Olimpico have been going for many months and were further boosted after Walter Sabatini walked away.
His assistant Ricky Massara was promoted to the top spot, presumably while the club waited for a more suitable replacement.
However, today Monchi was at a Press conference to present new Sevilla signing Stevan Jovetic and confronted the story.
“I have never told the President that I wanted to leave,” declared Monchi.
“We have reached an absurd level now. I continue to work in order to reinforce this team. If someone publishes a false report that generates misunderstandings, I can’t do anything about that.
“The only thing I can do is dedicate all my time to this club. I am staying at Sevilla, 120 per cent.”
