Torino defender Cristian Molinaro is out for five to six months after undergoing anterior cruciate ligament surgery.
The 33-year-old was stretchered off during Sunday’s 0-0 draw against Empoli.
He was diagnosed with a torn anterior cruciate ligament in his left knee and had reconstructive surgery today at the Fornaca clinic in Turin.
A statement confirms the surgery was successful and Molinaro will be out of action for approximately five to six months.
