The Viola have also been heavily linked with Juventus winger Pjaca.
The 23-year-old, despite having a number of suitors, is said to favour linking up with Stefano Pioli’s team.
Despite issues over the make-up of the deal, which will be an initial loan with the option to buy, both clubs are confident an agreement will be reached.
And Corriere Fiorentino confirms that both deals will go ahead if agreed, despite the fact the two players operate in a similar area of the pitch.
