And in an interview with Four Two Four Two, the goalscorer has gone back to the Champions League final in 2010 where he netted both goals in a win over Bayern Munich.
“That match in Madrid goes beyond words,” he said. “It was a joy that I couldn’t and still can’t describe.
“I’ll never forget that moment, especially when I scored those goals – it was at that point that I realised anything in life was possible.
“Mourinho? He gave me the chance to play at the highest level, with a team of great quality.
“After that year, something went wrong, but I desperately want to get back to playing in a European competition.”
