He’s expected to sign a contract that runs to June 2024.
The 24-year-old Serbia international has been on the Lazio books since 2015 following his €18m plus bonuses transfer from KRC Genk.
Last season, SMS scored seven goals with three assists in 41 competitive games for the club, taking them to victory in the Coppa Italia.
