Arkadiusz Milik says he is expecting to stay at Napoli in January, despite speculation that he could be loaned out.
Milik is not due back until the New Year after damaging knee ligaments again, but the striker made it clear he was hoping to help Napoli end their 28-year-old wait for a Scudetto, as opposed to regaining his fitness at the likes of Chievo.
“I feel good physically and I’m happy to be here,” he said at the unveiling of the club’s official calendar.

“I feel good physically and I’m happy to be here,” he said at the unveiling of the club’s official calendar.
“I hope things can always go better, the most important month will be the month of May, the last one, and I hope we’ll be able to celebrate the Scudetto then.
“It's great to work with people who support you every day. My return? I’m focused on working every day.
“it’s hard to give a date, but I have an idea of when. I’ll keep it to myself and I won’t say it. For us, the fans and the club, the Scudetto is what counts and we’ll do everything to win it.
“We’re aware of the importance it has for the city and those who support us.
“Where do I see myself in January? It’s too early to talk about it, but I’ll talk to the President, Coach and sporting director.
“I think I’ll stay at Napoli, but it’s too early to say. Rivals for the title? There are many great teams in Serie A and we respect them.
“However, Ghoulam and I both hope to be back helping the team win games and, above all, the Scudetto.”
