Milan have moved closer to signing Stefano Sensi after his agent confirmed a meeting with Paolo Maldini went ‘very well’.
According to Gazzetta dello Sport, Milan have a five-year contract with Sensi lined up, worth €1.8m a season plus bonuses.
The newspaper adds Maldini plans to complete the deal Leonardo set up a month ago, with the Rossoneri set to offer Sassuolo €15m plus bonuses.

“We didn’t talk about Sensi or [Gianluca] Mancini,” he told Gianluca Di Marzio’s website.
“I hope they’re two players Milan like. My meeting with Maldini went very well.”
Di Marzio argues the midfielder came up for discussion and that both parties ‘expressed a will’ for negotiations to proceed.
