La Stampa believe that Milan and Valencia remain €1.5m apart in negotiations for the transfer of Adil Rami.
The defender spent the second half of last season on loan with the Rossoneri and has since been seen as the subject of negotiations between the clubs on a permanent deal.
Whilst the San Siro outfit did have an original purchase option of €7m, they have been seen as pushing for as much as a 50 per cent reduction in talks since the start of the summer.

It had been seen that talks between the clubs had been delayed due to Peter Lim’s attempts to complete a takeover of the Mestalla outfit this summer.
However, La Stampa suggest pricing of the player remains the main factor of contention, with Milan still pushing for no more than €3.5m, and Los Che apparently asking for no less than €5m.
