Now that the Milan takeover has been completed, reports indicate that the Rossoneri now look to make a bid for Liverpool striker Daniel Sturridge.
According to calciomercato.it, one of the priorities under the new regime will be to find a replacement for Carlos Bacca, who looks likely to leave the club this summer.
Other names mentioned have included Karim Benzema, Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, Alvaro Morata and Alexandre Lacazette, but Sturridge may prove to be an easier capture, with multiple reports in England pointing towards a summer exit.

The 27-year-old has been plagued by injuries this term and has only made five Premier League starts, scoring two goals. When questioned about the player’s permanence at the club, Reds boss Jurgen Klopp refused to be drawn on the matter.
"It was not an easy season so far but there are still six games to go and he is back,” the German boss told a Press conference on Thursday. "I’m happy about this.
"But I don’t think for a second about the actual squad for next season.
"We plan different things, like transfers, as you can imagine. But we have never thought about who will leave."
