The Rossoneri have made it clear they are targeting these two players to reinforce their squad this summer.
Real Madrid could well be willing to release Kaka on loan, but his wages are still too much for Milan to handle.
“What stage are the talks for Kaka? That’s the million-dollar question,” smiled Braida on SpazioMilan.
“The situation is in stand-by, we will wait to see how we can resolve the problem that you already know about.
“Of course his return would make everyone happy, as Kaka is a lad we all care about and he made history with the Rossoneri. Obviously we’d be pleased to have him back with us.”
Milan are also in rather tense negotiations with Montpellier over defender Yanga-Mbiwa.
There were reports this morning that he had publicly rejected a move, but it later emerged the quotes came from a fake Twitter account.
“At the moment the Yanga-Mbiwa situation has slowed down a little, but we continue to be interested in the player,” added Braida.
Montpellier President Louis Nicollin even referred to Milan Vice-President Adriano Galliani as ‘Kojak.’
“We weren’t irritated, no. It’s part of the game.”
