Milan have reportedly agreed terms to make Alessandro Florenzi’s move permanent with a discount from Roma.
The versatile full-back had spent this season with the Rossoneri on loan with an option to buy for €4.5m.
The 31-year-old proved instrumental in their Scudetto success with two goals in 30 competitive matches under Stefano Pioli.
However, Milan requested a discount on the original agreement and it seems they were successful in their negotiations.
According to Calciomercato.com, the two clubs have now shaken hands on a buy-out clause at €2.5m plus bonuses, reaching a maximum of €3m.
Florenzi was born and raised a Romanista, entering the youth academy as a child.
He had an early loan spell at Crotone, but was pushed out of the squad in January 2020.
Loans at Valencia and Paris Saint-Germain followed before the move to Milan in August 2021.
Florenzi also has 48 senior caps for Italy, scoring two goals.
