Milan and Inter are reportedly competing for Juventus defender Martin Caceres with very different proposals.
The 29-year-old was supposed to sign his renewal last summer, but disagreements over his contract deferred the operation. As things stand, the player will find himself a free agent in summer 2016.
According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, Inter are looking to sign the defender and are willing to offer Juventus €3.5m in January.

Milan are also after Caceres but would rather pick him up for free. Should he be willing to wait until the summer and come as a free agent, the Rossoneri are promising a rich salary of €4m a year.
Juventus and the player may be at odds as to their preference. Inter are believed to have a slight advantage at the moment, but Milan could fill that gap by choosing to pay Juventus the transfer fee offered by their city rivals.
