The price tag of Samuel Chukwueze has pushed Milan to consider alternatives to the Villarreal winger and they’ve highlighted three who could be a good fit, reports suggest.
The Rossoneri have been interested in signing the 24-year-old for a little while now and are not alone in their appreciation of the winger, with clubs ranging from Real Madrid and Arsenal to West Ham and Aston Villa interested in picking him up.
Villarreal set a €40m price tag on Chukwueze, pushing Milan to move away and start considering other options.
As reported by Sky Sports Italia, Milan’s alternatives to Chukwueze include Arsenal’s Reiss Nelson, Watford’s Ismaila Sarr and Rennes’ Jeremy Doku.
Nelson may be the hardest of the three to secure, with reports claiming that he’s already verbally agreed a new contract with Arsenal. Sarr’s deal expires with Watford next year and could be snapped up for an accessible price, whilst Doku’s contract expires with Rennes in 2025.
