According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, Milan have identified Nantes striker Randal Kolo Muani as an alternative to Kaio Jorge, who seems destined to join Juventus.

Kolo Muani, 22, sees his contract expire in June 2022, so the Rossoneri hope to lower his €5-10m price tag.

The Rossoneri are on the lookout for a young striker who can gain experience by training with Olivier Giroud and Zlatan Ibrahimovic.

Kaio Jorge was the Rossoneri’s priority target, but the Brazilian starlet has reached an agreement with Juventus and the Bianconeri are now in pole position to sign the 19-year-old.

Therefore, Milan are now considering a move for Kolo Muani, who has one goal in seven appearances with the U21 France national team.

He has 10 goals in 46 senior appearances with Nantes and played more than 3,000 minutes in Ligue 1 last season.

Milan have not yet made a formal approach to sign the striker but are keeping a close eye on him as their search for a young striker continues.
