Pippo Inzaghi says his Milan side have been hampered by injuries, but doesn’t want to use that as an excuse.
The Rossoneri are without the likes of Stephan El Shaarawy and Mattia De Sciglio and are languishing in 10th place in Serie A.
“We’ve analysed what’s happened [with injuries],” Inzaghi told his pre-match Press conference.
“There are many causes that have led to this. What’s certain is that injuries have affected our results and position.

“People being out shouldn’t be an excuse, but it’s important for a Coach to have the whole squad available.
“[Nigel] De Jong is back, [Andrea] Poli has served his suspension. It’s important to be able to change things during the game.”
It’s rumoured that Inzaghi will lose his job if his side fail to beat Cagliari tomorrow, and the former striker is expecting a tough game.
“They have very quick players in attack. I know [Isolani Coach Zdenek] Zeman’s football, it’ll be a difficult game as they all are in Italy.
“We’ll have to be careful, but we’re playing at San Siro so we have to impose our game. We need to be more clinical in front of goal too.
“We played well in Florence [against Fiorentina], we didn’t deserve to lose.
“We’re working well, and tomorrow what we do on the pitch will tell us if we’ve been doing things in the right way or the wrong way.”
