Milan will try to poach Sampdoria boss Vincenzo Montella this summer, but Cristian Brocchi will stay if he wins the Coppa Italia.
The Rossoneri were criticised by many fans for sacking Sinisa Mihajlovic to make way for inexperienced Primavera tactician Brocchi, but President Silvio Berlusconi insisted there had been “improvements” under the new Coach.
Now Tuttosport claim Berlusconi has set his sights on Montella to lead yet another revolution next season.

It’s reported Montella has a clause in his Sampdoria contract allowing him to walk away for €1m.
However, it is also suggested that Milan will back Brocchi to stay on the bench if he wins the Coppa Italia Final against Juventus on May 21.
After Berlusconi’s video message in which he said he’d prefer to hand over Milan to Italians, negotiations with Chinese investors have swerved off course.
Hiring Montella could be the President’s way of reaffirming his leadership at the troubled club.
