The Spaniard has been linked with the Diavolo job for the 2013-14 campaign and it seems the Rossoneri are serious about landing him.
The Gazzetta says that owner Silvio Berlusconi has asked Vice-President Adriano Galliani to go and speak with Guardiola who is currently taking a year out in America.
However, competition for the services of the former Barcelona boss will be fierce given that he’s known to be keen on a move to England.
Guardiola would also expect Milan to significantly strengthen their squad over the summer and they may not be in a financial position to do that.
Milan are currently bossed by Massimiliano Allegri, but he’s fighting to save his job after four defeats in the first seven League games of the campaign.
