Milan have set their sights on Chelsea defender Trevoh Chalobah, setting up a transfer market Derby della Madonnina against Inter, reports suggest.
The Nerazzurri have been looking to add a new centre back to their backline for a little while now following the departure of Andrea Ranocchia, and one of their preferred targets is the 23-year-old Englishman, who seems set to leave West London this month in a bid for more playing time.
As reported by Gianluca Di Marzio, Milan are also looking for a new defender and they’ve set their sights on Chalobah as well. Talks may become concrete should Chelsea agree to send the 23-year-old away on a loan deal with a buy option attached.
The Blues are currently in talks with Leicester City for Wesley Fofana, and if he was signed then they’d be free to let Chalobah leave.
Inter are not planning to give up on the 23-year-old Englishman and are set to make a new move soon, wary of competition from both Milan and RB Leipzig.
