“We did well after Roma scored and maybe we could have had a penalty, but let’s not talk about the referee.
“Roma are still unbeaten and we were on the same level for much of the match. We did well and, in the end, Roma were a bit scared as well.
“I think that getting through to the next round of the Champions League has shown us how good we can be and that’s changed the humour in the team.”
Milan, who will next be in action in the derby against city rivals Inter, are tenth in the table – but 16 points adrift of the Champions League zone.
