Milan have formally denied reports Vice-President Adriano Galliani met with Pep Guardiola’s brother today, though he will be at tonight’s game with Malaga.
Pere Guardiola is in Milan today and spent several hours at the Giannino restaurant where Galliani often conducts business.
La Gazzetta dello Sport claim it was so he could meet with Galliani along with the former Barcelona manager’s assistant Manuel Estiarte.
However, other suggestions are that Guardiola was there to discuss other transfer issues with Italian-based figures, as he is an agent.
Milan rushed out a statement denying Galliani had “met with family or agents of Mr Guardiola.”
However, he will be at San Siro this evening for the Champions League match between Milan and Malaga, so the Press is going to be eagle-eyed for any pictures of him seen with Galliani.
The ex-Barcelona Coach is still on his Sabbatical and is also wanted by Chelsea.
