Lega Serie A President Paolo Dal has warned ‘the system is close to collapsing’ but the Government has reportedly refused to help Serie A clubs with a financing of €600m.
Therefore, Italian clubs must find an alternative way to cut their costs and Milan will soon begin talks to reduce the players’ wages by 20%. Other clubs are reportedly going to do the same in the near future.
The Rossoneri are also in talks to extend the contracts of Gigio Donnarumma and Hakan Calhanoglu who will see their contracts expire at the end of the season.
