Reports in China suggest a preliminary agreement for Milan’s sale will be signed next week.
A consortium from the Far East is in talks with Silvio Berlusconi over the sale of the club, thought the deal has been delayed by the President’s heart surgery.
Despite the original deadline of June having passed, China Daily is still confident an agreement will be reached, and the preliminary agreement could be signed in the first week of July.

It’s thought the Chinese group will take 80 per cent of the club, with the remaining 20 per cent to be purchased over the next two to three years.
That is line with reports from Italy this week, with China Daily also corroborating the notion that Berlusconi will initially remain as honorary President, and adding that he’ll be an informal advisor.
