Serbia boss Sinisa Mihajlovic has admitted that he hopes to one day take charge of Italian giants Inter.
Mihajlovic knows the club well having played for them as a player, while he was also an assistant to Roberto Mancini during his time on the San Siro bench.
After spells with Catania, Bologna and Fiorentina, Mihajlovic has stated that he’d be happy to one day return to Serie A and the Stadio Giuseppe Meazza.
“I was close to taking charge of Inter in the past, but then nothing came of it,” said the man who was targeted in the summer of 2011.
“It’s not a closed chapter though because Inter are a dream for all Coaches.”
The Nerazzurri are currently bossed by former Primavera Coach Andrea Stramaccioni, a tactician who has overseen two wins and two losses from their League games so far this term.
“He’s young, like me,” Mihajlovic continued. “But being talented is what is the most important thing and he did good things with the youth team.”
