“We know that Napoli have the chance to leapfrog Juventus again at the top of the table, so the stadium will be a cauldron, but we are not afraid,” Mihajlovic told Milan Channel.
“I think Maurizio Sarri will not be happy to face Milan at this moment of the season.
“In the last 18 rounds, we’d be in third place, behind only Juve and Napoli. A lot has changed from the last time we faced off.
“Since changing tactical system we have improved, it’s a very different Milan to the one that lost 4-0.
“Napoli always try to play their football and it will be a fantastic atmosphere at the San Paolo. It’ll be tough, but we know where we can hurt them.
“We must first of all try not to concede and then hit them at the right moment.”
Alessio Romagnoli is in the squad, but still not 100 per cent fit after suffering from flu this week.
“We are bringing him with us, then we’ll see if he is of use on the field. We have Alex and Cristian Zapata. The fever took a lot out of him, especially as he is so skinny he’s got the physique of a party popper!”
President Silvio Berlusconi confirmed he needs to be “convinced” of Mihajlovic’s talents and will only guarantee he stays on next season if he wins every game.
“Coaches are tied to results,” replied Miha. “I have faith in my work, then it’s only normal there are problems, like someone who doesn’t step on to the field with the right attitude.
“The attitude must always be right, even if you’re only on for a few minutes. Just look at Simone Zaza, who last week came off the bench and scored the decisive goal for Juventus against Napoli.”
Ex-Roma and Lazio defender Mihajlovic was also asked about the surprise exclusion of Francesco Totti at Roma.
“I am Totti’s friend, I don’t know if what happened will have positive or negative effects. We have to focus on ourselves, but we know in a team there are difficult moments.”
