The Serbian Coach is under pressure, after President Silvio Berlusconi expressed his displeasure with the performances of the team.

“I don’t think about certain things,” Mihajlovic said in his Press conference after the Coppa Italia win over Sampdoria.

“I only think about working. I have a strong character, and these rumours are like water off a duck’s back for me.

“I’m not worried, because we have such a high level in training. I’d be concerned if the team wasn’t training well, but that’s not the case.

“We’re a united group.”

Milan will face Carpi in the Quarter-Finals of the Coppa, then the winner of Spezia-Alessandria: surely the way is cleared to the final?

“There are no easy games, Carpi beat Fiorentina. Winning a trophy would be an important thing, we have to try, but we’ll take it a game at a time.

“I’m confident for the future.”

Finally, the Serbian was asked how it felt to return to the stadium where he enjoyed such success, before switching to San Siro this summer.

“Marassi will always be my home, it’s always nice to come back,” Mihajlovic replied.

“I was hoping to come back in a better situation for both Milan and Sampdoria, but I’m sure [Samp Coach Vincenzo] Montella will do a good job.”
