Philippe Mexes has committed his future to Milan after a summer in which he was said to be considering his options.
“I heard a lot of false things said about me, but the important factor is that I am still here,” he told Sky Sport Italia. “I never thought about going elsewhere.
“I want to show the fans just how attached I am to this shirt and I have always worked hard to get back into action as soon as possible.”

The French international joined the Diavolo in 2011 on a Bosman free after his contract with Roma expired.
He had his problems last term after returning from knee ligament damage, but could be set for a key role after the Rossoneri recently waved goodbye to Thiago Silva and Alessandro Nesta.
“We’ve lost some important players in defence, but some valid footballers have come in such as Francesco Acerbi and Cristian Zapata,” he added.
The 30-year-old has yet to play in Serie A this season after missing the first two games because of fitness issues.
