Napoli have reportedly agreed a deadline day deal to bring in Giandomenico Mesto from Genoa, as the Grifone replace him with Damiano Ferronetti.
Mesto’s agent has apparently been in talks with Vesuviani officials today in Milan, with the player understood to be keen on the switch south, after four years and 100 appearances for at Marassi.
The deal, which will see the full-back sign a three-year contract at the San Paolo, is set to be immediately followed by Ferronetti’s transfer into Genoa, as his replacement on a free transfer.

Ferronetti had originally signed with Torino earlier this summer, after leaving Udinese at the end of his contract, but a falling out with Coach Giampiero Ventura saw him cancel his two-year deal just a fortnight later.
