Dries Mertens has accepted Napoli’s €2m contract offer and will sign it after Euro 2016.
Mertens has been employed regularly by Napoli boss Maurizio Sarri, usually coming on as a substitute for Lorenzo Insigne, and Sky Sport Italia reports an agreement has been struck for the winger to prolong his stay.
The club were happy to meet his demands and have offered him a salary of €2m, although they will only be formalised after Euro 2016.
