Veteran Italian tactician Carlo Mazzone insists only three sides are in the Scudetto race – and they don't include Napoli and Juventus.
"It's an interesting championship but an unusual one," Mazzone noted. "There isn't one team who is dominating even if Milan have an advantage over the others.
"Inter started the season badly, but have the chance to recover. Roma too, after all the arguments, have found themselves.
"Lazio have lately left a lot to be desired.
"Milan, Inter and Roma – they are my favourites for the Italian championship."
Although Napoli are currently in second, four points behind the Rossoneri, Mazzone feels they are lacking something.
"They have the technique to be amongst the top places, but they lack the experience to target the title," added the former Roma boss.
Mazzone also rubbished Juventus' chances of final victory given that they are already nine points adrift of the top spot.
"It's hard to know what is going on from the outside," he added. "I didn't fancy Juventus for the Scudetto from the start, but I thought they would be more competitive.
"Despite changing several good Coaches, their League position is still in deficit. Perhaps they too lack experience."
