“I have a splendid relationship with the club, but now is the time to think about our targets on the pitch. I’m giving my best.”
The Azzurri, second in Serie A, are next in action against Czech side Viktoria Plzen in the Europa League on Thursday night.
“I’ll make changes to the side, but I’ll field an excellent team,” Mazzarri continued. “One which offers me guarantees.
“We want to go as far as possible in Europe and we really want to get through.”
The tactician confirmed that Edinson Cavani and January signing Rolando would start the game.
“Viktoria Plzen are not a side to be underestimated,” he added. “They’ve even beaten Atletico Madrid. It won’t be an easy game as they are a tough side.”
