“There were the chances to take the lead at the dawn of the second half, but we wasted three or four clear scoring opportunities. If you don’t score, you don’t win games.
“It’s a pity. We gave everything we had, but were naïve. It is above all disappointing for the fans, who once again were fantastic today.
“Some of our lads still need to develop the kind of determination and guile that Fiorentina showed.”
