“Parma have great values and important players,” Mazzarri said in his pre-match Press conference.
“Gervinho, for example, is a champion. Then there’s [Roberto] Inglese. They’re a team that has always done well away, they won at Genoa and at Inter.

“They know how to play well on the break, so we’ll need to play a great game, forgetting what we did against Sampdoria and without resting on our laurels.
“I coached [Luca] Rigoni, who is very strong, as are Antonino Barillà and Davide Grassi. We’ll need to be very attentive, as we were in the last three games, or this won’t go at all as expected.
“That’s the most important thing, and I’ll be talking about it with the team today. Celebrating for one day is fine, it’s good to take a break and enjoy a win, but with the knowledge that we can’t let our guard down.
“What we did in Genoa and the games before that was to be able to play good football, even if we can still improve.
“Parma will be the acid test of whether we’ll be a team that sometimes wins well and sometimes doesn’t, or if we’re a group that can be convincing for the whole season.”
Mazzarri also offered Italy CT Roberto Mancini some advice on his goalkeepers.
“Sirigu is the best in Italy. [Gigio] Donnarumma is the future, but Salvatore is the present.”
