Walter Mazzarri has reminded Inter that he is still expecting to be handed a new wing-back on the right hand side.

“It would be better if one arrived,” the former Napoli boss told the Corriere dello Sport on Thursday morning.

“Everybody knows how important my wide players are to me in both phases of play – the defensive and the offensive.”

The Beneamata did hold numerous talks with Juventus in a bid to sign Mauricio Isla, who the Turin giants co-own with Udinese.

A move was thought to be close to completion, but the Italian champions are now considering keeping the Chilean.

Juve and Inter have also been linked with Napoli’s Colombian international Juan Camilo Zuniga.
