Blaise Matuidi assured Juventus “can be competitive on all fronts” after a 2-1 win at Parma and will help Cristiano Ronaldo break his Serie A duck.
The Bianconeri saw Gervinho cancel out a Mario Mandzukic opener, but the Croatian then set up Matuidi’s winner with a back-heel flick assist.
“I am happy, as it wasn’t easy to play in this stadium in front of these passionate fans,” the World Cup winner told DAZN.

“We can keep winning and must start thinking about the Champions League too. We have work to do and can be competitive on all fronts, we just have to take it one game at a time and bring home the result.”
Juve have won three out of three, but €100m signing Cristiano Ronaldo is yet to score.
“He is a great player and will score eventually, as he’s very important for this team. He was unlucky this evening, but we will help him and he’s got plenty of time. He was a little annoyed at not being able to score, but it’ll come.”
