The striker arrived last January from Cagliari” data-scaytid=”6″>Cagliari and has proved to be a crucial reinforcement for the Serie A leaders, netting a brace in last night’s 2-1 win over Udinese.
“Lately the goals were struggling to arrive, but fortunately I broke that drought,” said Matri.
“It was a year full of emotions at Juventus. Last season could’ve gone better, but things have improved so much and we hope to end the campaign on the best possible note. We are a great group and in really good shape.”
Matri could be followed to Juve by his old Cagliari teammate Nainggolan.
“It all depends on President Massimo Cellino and what the player wants. I hope he can come here, as Nainggolan is a great player.”
