Juventus’ Luca Marrone has pulled out of the Italian Under-21 squad on Monday because of injury.
The midfielder, who is being used as a centre-back this term by the Old Lady, was originally included in the party for Tuesday’s friendly against an Italy B side.
Marrone has returned to Turin because of a left ankle complaint.

He’s the second player to withdraw from Devis Mangia’s party after Riccardo Saponara of Empoli was also ruled out with fitness issues.
The latter has been replaced by Sampdoria midfielder Roberto Soriano.
