Juventus general manager Giuseppe Marotta says “Isco won’t come” and is “50 per cent” certain of keeping Alvaro Morata.
The Bianconeri transfer chief was awarded the Varesesport prize today, and provided Gianluca Di Marzio’s website with an update on the summer transfer campaign.
“I often read in the newspapers that [Roma’s Miralem] Pjanic is close,” Marotta noted.

“In fact we’ve never spoken with Roma, a club with which we have excellent relations. He’s definitely a great player though.
“Morata? We’ll have to meet with Real Madrid, but at the moment they’re busy preparing for the Champions League final. We’ll talk after the final.
“Will he stay? 50 per cent.
“Isco won’t come, we’ll discuss Morata with Real, but there are long months ahead.
“Paris Saint-Germain’s Edinson Cavani? Our attack meets every requirement, also formed by three players who arrived last summer.
“We’re very happy with what they’re doing, but if someone like Morata leaves we’d evaluate things.
“I think we’ll start next season with this arrangement though.”
Marotta was also asked about Andrea Barzagli’s renewal, as well as links to Arsenal forward Alexis Sanchez.
“It’s nice to read that so many players would like Juventus. Reality tells us that this team is now where it has historically been considered, so it’s normal that most top players would find the thought of coming to us appealing.
“[Antonio] Di Natale rejected us, but those days are long gone. As for Sanchez, he’s definitely a good player.
“Barzagli? To talk about it now is premature, we’ll make a statement and let you all know when it’s been done.”
