Pasquale Marino has conceded that struggling Parma were right to sack him at the start of this month.

Marino only joined the Gialloblu last summer from Udinese, but was axed on April 3 following the shock 2-1 home defeat to bottom of the table Bari.

"The reason I am at home is because I made mistakes," Marino, who was replaced by Franco Colomba, told TMW.

"The most important thing for me right now is to understand what errors I made to make sure that they are not repeated in the future.

"However, I do believe that I know what I did wrong because I have had the time necessary to analyze the situation."

Parma have impressively won their last two games against Inter and Udinese, but are still just three points above the drop zone.

The Stadio Tardini outfit entertain Palermo on Sunday afternoon.
