Claudio Marchisio claims Juventus are now “mature and confident,” starting from Super Cup revenge against Napoli tomorrow.
It kicks off in Doha on Monday at 17.30 GMT.
“In a one-off game, anything can happen, especially against players like Higuain, Callejon and Hamsik,” said the midfielder.
“The Coppa Italia Final we lost to Napoli still burns. After we beat them in Beijing in the last Super Cup, this one is the ‘decider.’

“I still say Roma are a step above Napoli for their efforts in Europe and Serie A. Roma just went out of the Champions League, but I think they can win the Europa League. In fact, I hope they do for the sake of Italian football.”
Marchisio recognises Max Allegri has brought a different element to the Juventus squad this season.
“You win a Final with the utmost concentration and desire to achieve your objective. At Juventus we have also changed our mentality and approach to games. Now there is a different maturity and self-belief within the squad, earned also thanks to the victories of recent years.
“This was above all important in Europe, as we got through and would’ve qualified earlier had it not been for an undeserved defeat in Madrid. We went to their stadium and held the initiative for 90 minutes against Atletico. That’s the most important step forward Juve have made recently.
“The objective is to always keep on improving. We hope to quickly realise how to pull something more out of the hat, especially as we’ve got Borussia Dortmund after the Christmas break.”
