The Flying Donkeys failed to return to winning ways against the team second from bottom of Serie A, though they were denied a winning goal when technology ruled that Alessandro Gamberini’s effort had not crossed the line.
“Our attitude was good,” Maran told reporters. “But there were too many errors and too many wrong decisions.
“The disallowed goal seemed like it was in, but the team did what they had to do on a difficult pitch.
