Chievo Coach Rolando Maran praised his side for a ‘big step forward’ after they climbed out of the relegation zone by beating Cagliari.
The Flying Donkeys conquered the Isolani 2-0 at Sant’Elia, with goals from Alberto Paloschi and Riccardo Meggiorini to go above the Sardinian side.
“It was a very good day,” Maran told Sky after the game.

“The spirit is right, we’ve made a big step forward, but there’s a long road still ahead of us.”
