Diego Armando Maradona urged Francesco Totti “to keep playing” well after his 40th birthday, as they met in tonight’s charity match.
The legendary Number 10s crossed paths at the Stadio Olimpico in this evening’s Match for Peace, organised in conjunction with Pope Francis.
“I will tell Totti to keep on playing,” Maradona told reporters of the Roma captain. “You need 40 normal players to create a Totti. Francesco is one of the greats, the real symbol of Roma.”
