Italy CT Roberto Mancini confirms Gianluigi Donnarumma will start against Saudi Arabia but replies “let’s see” on Mario Balotelli.
The new Coach faces his first match in charge of the Azzurri tomorrow night, and he spoke in a Press conference this evening.
“We’ve spent three days together and the lads have applied themselves very well,” Mancini assured.
“We worked and we also had fun, it’s the first game so it’s important to get off on the right foot.

“The team? I won’t tell you, I’ll just say that the only certainty is the goalkeeper and Donnarumma will play.
“As for Balotelli, we’ll see if he plays or not. Mario is an Italian player, [Giampiero] Ventura was also going to call him but he had physical problems. I’ve only recalled him.
“He’ll be one of the strikers and we hope he can give us something good for the future because he’s still young.
“It’s up to him, if he’s fit and plays the way we know he can then there will be no problems.”
