As reported last night, Rasmus Hojlund has already signed the contract completing his move from Atalanta and will be unveiled by Manchester United on Saturday.

The deal was a club record for La Dea, worth €75m plus another €10m in performance-related bonuses.

Sky Sport Italia and The Athletic both assure that the five-year contract has already been signed on Thursday evening after he underwent two days of medical tests.

There is also an option for another season when that deal has expired.

Hojlund will be unveiled to the crowd at Old Trafford ahead of Saturday’s pre-season friendly match against RC Lens.

The Denmark international is 20 years old and scored six goals in six senior caps for his country.

Atalanta only purchased him from Sturm Graz under a year ago for €17.2m and in turn the Austrians had signed the teenager from FC Copenhagen for €1.95m in January 2022.

He found the net nine times and provided four assists in 32 Serie A appearances for Atalanta.
