Sky Sport Italia claim Inter made an offer for Matteo Darmian, but Manchester United slammed the door.
The 26-year-old right-back left Torino for €18m a year ago.
According to transfer expert Gianluca Di Marzio, Inter called Manchester United today and asked if Darmian was available.
However, Jose Mourinho refused to even consider releasing the Italy international.
He is under contract until June 2019 and has an option for another year.
